Sources have said that like previous years, new currency notes will not be issued on Eid-ul-Fitr this year as well. The State Bank has decided not to issue new notes on Eid this year.
Other currencies, including the dollar, also became cheaper on the open market
On the other hand, citizens go around private banks to get newspapers, while the bank administration apologizes for supplying newspapers.
Sources have further informed that since new notes will not be issued, copies will not be distributed to citizens this year as well.
