Madavara police informed the matter to Bahrol police station. Thereafter, Madavara police reached Fort Dhamoni along with accused Rishiraj. Where on Tuesday, at the request of the accused, the police recovered the body of the woman from the bushes inside the fort. The dead body is about four days old. Accused man arrested, police questioning Banda SDOP Shikha Soni said that a dead body of a woman was found in Dhamoni Fort. The deceased was murdered by her own husband. Deceased Shivangi Singh Rajput, resident of Jakhlaun Lalitpur, was married to Rishiraj, resident of Mavai Ramtauria of Chhatarpur district in July. On September 13, Rishiraj had brought his wife Shivangi to visit Dhamoni Fort. Where the accused killed his wife by slitting her throat with a knife. The body was hidden in the bushes and returned home. During the questioning, the accused said that he was having an affair with another girl. Because of this he killed his wife. The police are questioning the accused in the case.
