India’s Priyanka Goswami won a silver medal in the 10000m race at the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Saturday (6 August 2022). He covered this distance in 49 minutes and 38 seconds.
With this victory, India secured its third medal in track and field. Earlier Murali Sreesankar won silver in long jump and Tejaswin Shankar bronze in high jump.

Let us tell you that Priyanka, who represented India at the Tokyo Olympics, took the fastest lead in the first leg of the race walk. She stopped first after 4 km. But after this Australia’s Jemima Montague and Kenya’s Emily Wamusi Ng advanced.
