Pakistani student Madrid (News Desk) Awais Ahmed Haral, who obtained his PhD from the University of Cordoba in Spain, has reached the top 2 percent of scientists in the world for the second time in a row.
According to media reports, Owais Ahmed Haral is the first Pakistani to receive this honour.
A brief introduction to Owais Ahmed Haral
Hailing from a small village in Faisalabad, Owais Ahmed Haral is the only Pakistani scholar to receive this honor during his Ph.D.
In his career, he has written more than 180 research papers achieving an impact factor of over 1,000.
Owais Ahmed Haral also edited 9 books based on scientific research in the field of nanotechnology.
He also received a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2023, before receiving the ‘Young Scientist Award’ from the Saudi Chemical Society in 2021.
Moreover, Owais Ahmad Haral has also given lectures in national and international universities, in addition to Pakistan, these countries include India, England, Korea, Malaysia, Spain, France and Italy.
Apart from this, Awais Ahmed Haral has also served as a visiting professor in France and Italy.
‘There is still more work to be done’
In a special interview to the private TV channel ‘Express News’, Owais Ahmad Haral said that he works hard under the guidance of parents and teachers, that’s why he got this honour.
He said that my dream had come true in 2023 when I received this award for the first time, but there is still more work to be done.
Owais Ahmed said that he started BS in 2015 and thought of doing something unique in 2017 and at that time experimented on waste water treatment which was successful.
Regarding making materials for batteries, he said that we used to have to change the capacitors of the ceiling fans again and again during load shedding, from this I got the idea of ​​adopting nano technology, when the quality was better, it was improved further. Expanded.
