West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose wrote a letter to the Chief Minister. He asked the question, on what basis did the police stop the victims of the violence from entering the Raj Bhavan? He wrote that permission for this had already been given by Raj Bhavan.

The governor met the victims of the violence

After that, CV Anand Bose also visited Maheshwari Bhavan of Barbazar. During this, he also met the victims of the post-election violence in the Lok Sabha. Let us tell you that the Bharatiya Janata Party has accused the Trinamool Congress of violence. However, the country’s ruling party strongly rejected these claims.

An official related to the case said the governor had given written permission to meet the victims. BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari and the victims were allowed to go to the Raj Bhavan and meet the Governor. Even after that, the police forbade his entry. The official further said that the Governor has issued constitutional directives to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee demanding to know why the victims were prevented from meeting.

The police imposed a ban

On Thursday, police stopped BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari and the alleged victims of post-poll violence from entering Raj Bhavan citing Section 144 of CrPC. Biography Anand Bose also cited constitutional norms in his letter to Mamata Banerjee. According to constitutional rules, the prime minister is required to inform the governor about decisions related to the management of state affairs and legislation.
