The Kshatriya community was angry with Rupala
It is pertinent to note that before the Lok Sabha elections, the Kshatriya community created a ruckus by protesting in various parts of Gujarat regarding Rupala’s remarks about the former rulers. However, Rupala later apologized to the Kshatriya community for her controversial statement. During that time, a lot of anger was seen in the Kshatriya community and many leaders demanded to give ticket to someone else instead of Rupala. However, BJP did not change the ticket in this seat. The Rajputs then increased their movement.
