The National Education Policy is being implemented not only in Tripura, but across the country. It is the responsibility of the teachers to understand the students well about the National Education Policy. Because teachers are the backbone of the nation. This was said by the Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha while congratulating all the teachers awarded by the State Education Department at the official residence of the Chief Minister.

Teachers involved in state building are honored. However, due to special reasons, the Prime Minister could not attend this year’s Teachers’ Day celebration. So he honored the teachers in his official residence.

On this day, the Prime Minister Dr. Saha that teachers have made an exceptional contribution in building a fair and ethical society. Therefore, he expressed sincere thanks to all of them and congratulated them. According to the First Minister, the teachers have a direct relationship with the students. They also have the important responsibility of making the students aware of the National Education Policy. In particular, students should be informed of all policy guidelines in this regard. Teachers are one of the prominent people in society. The role of teachers is one of the most important to show the right direction for society. The future depends on them. However, attention should be given to the students so that they can get good results.

The Chief Minister of Tripura also said that the state government is very sincere in the overall development of the education system of the state. Various important initiatives have been taken to improve the education sector in all aspects. Efforts are being made to eliminate the problems of teachers in various schools. Plans are underway to fill the vacancies for this. The central and state governments have worked together to deal with the recent flood situation. In addition to this, everyone has extended a hand of cooperation. Three districts in Tripura, Dakshin, Gomti and Sipahijla districts have suffered heavy losses due to floods. The education department has also suffered a lot in the floods. For this some financial support has been given to the Department of Education.
