A 50-year-old neem tree fell in Jaipur today due to heavy rains. A tree fell in front of Gopalpura flyover on Tonk Road, blocking traffic on Tonk Road. After the blockade from Gopalpura flyover to Tonk Gate, police diverted traffic from Gopalpura flyover towards Triveni and Saras culvert.
In fact, a 50-year-old neem tree fell in front of Jaipur Hospital on the way from Gopalpura flyover to Durgapura. At the time the tree fell, there was traffic going on and many people were standing under the tree. However, as the trees gradually started falling, the traffic stopped and people dispersed. Fortunately, the tree did not collapse suddenly, otherwise there would have been casualties. About an hour and a half after the tree fell, the municipality team reached the spot through JCP and engaged in the work of cutting and removing the tree.

Locals said the tree fell at around 8 pm and traffic was subsequently blocked on the Gopalpura flyover on Tonk Road to Durgapura. Police diverted the traffic from under the Gopalapura flyover via Gopalapura bypass or Himmat Nagar. At the same time, the car, auto rickshaw and motorcycle driver reached Durgapura Tonk Road via Jai Ambe Nagar.
