The Dutch company Pablo Beer introduced a new beer whose main ingredient is coca leaves. This is reported by Newfood.media
The idea for an innovative beer came from TV chef Jeremy Vermeulen, who worked for the Dutch TV channel RTL 4 and the Australian broadcasting network SBS. He is the one who founded the Pablo Beer brand and set out to develop a low-alcohol beer that impresses with taste, while remaining low-calorie and natural.
Pablo Beer is believed to be the first in the world to use coca leaves as its main ingredient.
The product is now available in selected stores and hospitality establishments in the Netherlands. It will eventually be sold worldwide.
“As the sun sets over the expanses of Colombia, the global community of adventure seekers raises their glasses,” reads the description of the unique beer.
Pablo Beer contains an alcohol percentage of 3.5% and combines intense aromas with a hint of citrus and a refined bitterness that “invites you to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and feel the taste of adventure”.
The entrepreneur sees this as an ideal drink option for those who appreciate both great flavors and want to be imbued with the spirit of the Colombian jungle.
