Villagers took to the streets carrying banners of a vote boycott
Kisan Sangharsh Samiti at Vishnuganj in Magadh medical police station area of Gaya district has decided to boycott the votes in the Lok Sabha elections. The issue of their displeasure is related to the purchase of land. Angry villagers staged a strong demonstration near the village at 4pm on Thursday. The villagers say that according to the order issued by the court, neither were they given compensation for their land nor were the restrictions imposed on their land related to the registration removed. During the protest, the villagers announced a boycott of voting in the Lok Sabha elections.
