Roykal, Light: Five people were injured when the senior class leaders crushed the junior students in the name of discipline at Allipur Gurukulam, Raikalmandal, Jagityala district. The matter came to light when the parents came to see their children on the occasion of Ugadi. So they worried there. Gurukula Mahatma Jyotibhaphule School in Allipur village (Singaraopet) had Ugadi holiday on Tuesday, so on Monday night the principal entrusted a female teacher with the responsibility of looking after the children. He told class and school leaders of classes 9 and 7 to discipline the students of the lower classes. As a result, on Monday night, the class leader of the seventh grade hit the sixth grade student for not listening.
On Tuesday morning, four students studying in class 7 were beaten by the leader of class 9. The children became silent as they threatened to beat them again if they told anyone about the beating. On the occasion of Ugadi, parents who came to the school to see their children saw injured children and asked what happened. After telling all that had happened, they went to complain to the principal. When he said he wasn’t there, they asked him to sit on the road and write for two hours. They complained that there is no supervision by the authorities and that the teachers and staff act arbitrarily. He expressed his anger that there are not enough toilets and that there are no doors to the toilets.
This time, the injured students expressed their feelings. When Principal Venkataramana came to know about the matter, he was stopped by his parents. As the traffic stopped, SI Ajay came to talk to them and stop the commotion. Details were collected from the affected students. The principal said he would organize a meeting with the parents on Wednesday and assured that action will be taken against the students involved in the conflict. The police advised the older students.
