According to the details, a hearing was held in the Lahore High Court on a petition against the playing of drums, bugles and horns on Independence Day.
Justice Shahid Waheed rejected the petition as ineffective and remarked that the day of August 14 has already passed. What is the justification for the petition? On the other hand, the judges roster for the seventh week of summer vacation in Lahore High Court will be applied from today. After the approval of the Chief Justice, Additional Registrar Judicial Muhammad Nasir issued the roster. In the seventh week, two division benches and five single bench cases have been constituted for hearing the cases, while a bench consisting of Justice Shahid Waheed and Justice Shakeel Ahmed has been constituted. According to the judges roster, a two-member bench consisting of Justice Amjad Rafiq and Justice Ali Zia Bajwa was formed. The division benches will hear all types of appeals. All judges will also serve as a single bench.
