People are now waiting for children with their vehicles on the main school road itself, due to severe traffic jam at the time of school start and end. Blockage on many roads
This is not the first case of closure of RTS Colony road. Earlier, a sudden blockade was imposed on the road near Bharat Mata School. After protests by public representatives and the administration, it was opened for one day but now it is closed again.
Similarly, Construction Colony, NA Colony and Wireless Colony Road have been closed by putting barricades for outside vehicular movement.
The BJP leader protested
Former councilor and Bharatiya Janata Party leader V Rama Rao claimed that the railway officials see their own separate empire, thus railway officials are often unable to tolerate the entry of non-railway people into their area.
He said that for years the public has been moving on the roads of the railway colony, but sometimes roadblocks are put up to harass people. Earlier, due to protests, they had to open the road to Tarbahar.
