Hanging: The police rescued a person who was lying in a bloody state on the side of the national highway. The incident took place in Dhamnagach area of ​​Phansidewa block on Sunday night. According to police sources, the person’s name is Sanjay Kumar Mahato. A resident of Chingispur district, Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur. It was lying next to the Ghoshpukur-Phulbari bypass and National Highway No. 27.
According to local sources, Manojit Ghosh, a resident of Bhaktinagar, Phansidewa, saw Sanjay lying on the side of the service road while passing by. Blood was dripping from his neck, near his ears and from many places on his body. Manojit started screaming in panic after seeing that. Several local businessmen also came there.
After the information was given to the Phansidewa police station, the police van reached the spot. The injured were rescued and taken to Phansidewa Rural Hospital. After basic treatment there, the doctor referred him to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. The family of those who were injured have already been informed by the police.
However, it is not yet known how the person got into such a state. Initial estimates suggest that Sanjay was hit with sharp weapons in several places including neck, side of ear, abdomen. The Phansidewa police station has started an investigation to find out why he came to Phansidewa from Balurghat.
