On both banks of the river, the villagers collected stones and made 2 pillars of 6-6 feet and 2 of 10-10 feet i.e. a total of 4 pillars.
It was not joined with cement, but was blocked with a bamboo fence all around, so that the stone would not fall. A 10-by-10-foot beam was placed on this bridge. Its width after putting the racket is 2 feet. Other than that there is no other support.
You should have thought before taking any step forward. Today there is no water in the river. When the river is at its peak, hundreds of villagers cross the river through this temporary wooden bridge.
Another 4 months problem
The villagers also repair the bridge before the rains. The river flows from July to October. The water from the mountains comes down and meets this river. Because of this this whole area is divided into two parts. However, the villagers cross the river and risk their lives.

The villagers said – we are happy with it
When we talked to the villagers here, the villagers said that no official or leader has come to this village till date. If anyone came then only you journalists. When we asked the villagers that instead of this wooden bridge, do you want a permanent bridge? So the village elder said no. We need this bridge. We are happy to live such a life.
Hundreds of villagers depend on it. They say they will form the government and not allow Naxalites to form it.

Some of the villagers also said that what they would do even if they wanted to, would not form a government nor would they allow the Naxalites to form it. So we are happy when life goes on. The Naxalites are also the reason why the villagers are not openly demanding the bridge. The villagers prefer to remain silent and survive in the face of such danger instead of losing their lives unnecessarily.
