In Bilaspur, the amount will be deposited in the bank accounts of farmers benefiting from Chief Minister Kisan Saman Nidhi on Tuesday. As part of the program, 93 thousand farmers benefit in the district, to whom the central government gives money.

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 17th episode of Prime Minister Kisan Saman Nidhi on Tuesday, June 18. Prime Minister Modi will transfer payments of Rs 2,000 each to farmers from his Varanasi parliamentary constituency. Initially, when the PM-Kisan scheme was launched (February, 2019), its benefits were available only to the families of small and marginal farmers.
Benefits of the program for farming families
This included farmers who combined lands of up to 2 dunams. After that, the program was amended in June 2019 and it was decided to grant the benefits of the program to all farmers’ families.
However, some farmers are still left out of the scheme. This includes institutional landowners, peasant families holding constitutional positions, serving or retired officers and state or central government employees.
Money will go into the accounts of 93 thousand farmers in Bilaspur
There are 93 thousand farmers in Bilaspur, in whose account an amount of 2,000 rupees will be deposited. The central government gives an amount of Rs 6,000 every year to farmers under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Saman Nidhi Yojana. This amount is deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers.
