Rajnandgaon Due to Chatrichand festival, slaughterhouses and mutton markets located within the municipal corporation limits will remain completely closed on April 10. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Gupta has asked the health department to ensure a complete ban on the slaughter and sale of animals on the said day. He ordered the health ministry to confiscate the meat if found selling it on the said day and take appropriate legal action against the person concerned and impose a fine of up to Rs 5,000.
