The first phase of Women’s Club National Football Championship has been completed after which 8 teams have qualified for the final round to be held in Islamabad. The final will be held from August 1.
In the initial round of Women’s Club National Football Championship, matches were held in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Quetta, after which 8 clubs qualified for the final round to be held in Islamabad.
From Karachi, Karachi United, Karachi City, Dia Women and Jaffa Club have qualified. Apart from Legacy Club Islamabad and Highlanders, TWK Lahore and Hazara Quetta qualified from Quetta.
The final will be played in Islamabad from August 1 to 10.
On the final day of the qualifier on Friday, Dia Women’s Football Club in Karachi defeated Foreign Women’s Football Club 0-10 while Balochistan Women’s Club defeated Quetta Women’s Club 2-3 in Quetta. In the match held in Islamabad, Highlanders beat Striker Club 1-5.
