During the operation, contaminated food items were found in the warehouse. When the purchase and sale bills of the material were not found and the businessman Dinesh Savla did not give satisfactory answers, the team seized 175 kg. Nova Skimmed Milk Powder (Price-Rs 35000), 200 kg. Amul Whey Powder Skim (Price- Rs. 40000), 125 kg. Free Skimmed Milk Powder (Price- Rs 25000), 270 kg. Refined Coconut Oil (Price – Rs 14400), 180 kg. Refined palm oil (worth Rs 21600) was seized.
A total of 950 kg was seized. The estimated cost of the material is around Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand. The collector Shrivastava has appealed to the people of the area to complain to the people involved in pollution and to the food safety officials of the institution.
