Panipat A case of fraud of Rs 57,000 by a young resident of Khatla, Jind has come to light. The cyber crime police team arrested the accused from Gola Dungarpur in Rajasthan and recovered Rs 15 thousand. The accused spent the rest of the money on food and drinks. Inspector Praveen said that Anish of Jind came to Panipat on August 2, 2023. Here, when he clicked on an advertisement on his mobile phone, Rs 500 was withdrawn from his bank account. The swindler cheated by promising to return the money every time he deposited double the amount and cheated Rs 57500 from Anish. The accused then stopped receiving calls. On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered and an investigation was conducted and it was found that the location of the accused was Rajasthan. On Thursday, a raid was conducted in Dungarpur and the accused Yash was arrested from his own village. The accused was produced in court and taken on police remand for a day. After the remand period ended on Saturday, the accused was sent to prison.
