Telephone communication between army chief and Bahraini commander-in-chief – public news
Rawalpindi: According to ISPR, there was a telephone conversation between Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain had expressed his regret over the floods in Pakistan. He had suggested possible cooperation.
According to the ISPR, the Commander-in-Chief also appreciated the rescue and relief operations of the Pakistan Army in the flood-affected areas. The Army Chief expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation from Bahrain.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the assistance provided by friendly countries would prove very important for the rescue and resettlement of the victims.
