The Supreme Court issued a notice to the parties concerned about the petition filed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and others. In the petition, a demand was made to transfer the petitions related to the National Eligibility Test with Honors (Graduate)-2024 from the High Court to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court delayed the proceedings before the High Court in these cases. The Supreme Court reiterated that it will not stop the consultation process.

At the same time, the Supreme Court published a statement on Thursday and asked for answers from the Center, NTA and others as well. The notice was issued on petitions seeking cancellation of NEET-UG 2024 and a court-supervised inquiry into alleged irregularities in the medical entrance examination. The vacation bench of Justices Vikram Nath and SVN Bhatti fixed July 8 for hearing these petitions.

There is also a requirement to give instructions for retesting.

One of the petitions, which was submitted on behalf of 20 students who appeared in the medical entrance exam, also asked for instructions to the NTA and others to conduct the re-examination. While hearing various petitions related to the inspection, the Supreme Court said on June 18 that negligence in conducting the inspection cannot be tolerated. Even if there is 0.001 percent negligence on someone’s part, it should be completely addressed.

A reply was also sought to the petition demanding a CBI probe

While hearing separate petitions regarding NEET-UG 2024, the Supreme Court last week filed a response from the Center and the National Security Agency on the petition demanding that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigate the allegations of question paper leakage and other irregularities in the examination. It requested. The examination was held on May 5 About 24 lakh candidates participated in 4,750 centers.

Several other students also filed a petition

Apart from this, the Supreme Court also issued a notice to the central government and the NEET on the petition filed by some students. These students appeared at the Meghalaya center for the NEET-UG examination and according to reports 45 minutes of their time was wasted. Their demand is to be included among the 1563 students who got grace marks and got an opportunity to re-examine on June 23.
