Earthquakes were felt in the northeastern state of Assam at around 6:15 pm on Friday evening. Its intensity in Assam was measured at 5.7 on the Richter scale. Until the time of writing the news, there is no news about loss of life or property. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Myanmar, whose geographic coordinates were 26.53 latitude and 96.77 longitude. The seismic activity was at a depth of 62 km.
