The big day is here and those in the path are ready to sit back and watch the wonder of nature as the total solar eclipse passes over parts of North America, including Montreal and southern Quebec.

Whether you’ve been excited for months or you decide at the last minute to check it out, it’s important to remember that everyone’s experience with the solar eclipse is different, and for some it can be very personal. Let’s not ruin the experience for anyone else, shall we?

Space educator Trevor Kjorlien, founder of Plateau Astro, has created an Eclipse Etiquette Guide: How Not to Be an Eclipse Monday Idiot.

Here are his top tips. pleasant viewing!

(Also, videos posted to social networks with music playing may be deleted due to copyright infringement)
