On Thursday, Suraj Kumar Shah of Navjeevan Vihar in Baidhan Kotwali area was standing near Bijapur Road Swagat Gate in Ganiari waiting for a customer to sell the illegal drug heroin. Who was surrounded and captured. Suraj Kumar Shah, father of 22-year-old Ratilal Shah, resident of Sector No. 3 Navjeevan Vihar of Vindhyanagar police station, was going to sell drugs. After search, 25 grams of drug heroin worth Rs 2,50,000 was found in a transparent foil in the shirt pocket of the accused. After enquiry, it was found that the drug heroin was being transported from Bijpur (Uttar Pradesh) to an unknown person for sale. The drug was seized and the accused was arrested and produced in court on Thursday. When questioning the accused, a lot of important information was obtained regarding smugglers. Inspector Sudhesh Tiwari, Sub Inspector Shivkumar Dubey, Assistant Sub Inspector Vinod Mishra, Head Constable Ramkrishna Bagri, Constable Sanju Dhurve, Tumman Pandre had commendable contribution in the entire operation.
