Rania News: Acting Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia inaugurated the new building of Gram Nyayalaya in Rania through video conferencing. On this occasion, Justice Arun Palli, Chairman Building Construction Committee, Punjab and Haryana High Court and other judges were present in the video conference, while Justice Vinod S. While Justice Vinod S. Bhardwaraj of Punjab and Haryana High Court, while addressing the advocates at the inauguration of the new building of the Gram Court in Raniya, said that it is undoubtedly a symbol and indicator for the judiciary. Today the new building of the Gram Nyayalaya will increase people’s faith in justice and judiciary. He told the Justice that around 3500 cases from Rani district are pending in Ellenabad courts, while only around 400 cases are pending in the Rani Gram Nyayalaya. He said that the people of Raniya district have to travel a distance of about 60 kilometers to attend hearings in Ellenabad courts, because they suffer financial and mental loss. He demanded that the Justice make the Gram Nyayalaya in Raniya a permanent court. All the officers including Bar Association Secretary Ranjit Singh Virk honored the Justice by donning a turban and giving him a memento. Sirsa News
