The design in the background was done with Alta, Shenka Paula, a mirror and a comb. Apart from that, 15 kg of pulses, rice, beans, wheat and almonds were used in the mixed grain idol.

Sculptor Jitendra said he has been making the sculpture for 15 years. Brother also received support in this work. On other days he makes a living from private jobs.

Durga idol is made of 30 thousand Rudraksha

At the same time, about 1500 garlands were used in the idol of the crystal beads. It is designed in the colors of the tricolor. Durga Mea’s saree is designed in white, saffron and green colors. Apart from this, a total of 15 kg of fennel, fenugreek, cumin, mangrila, mustard, celery and mustard were given the shape of Durga in the Panch Puran. About 30 thousand Rudrakshas were used in the Rudraksh Durga idol and 5,000 wicks were used in the cotton wick idol.

Jitendra has been making unique Durga idols for the past 15 years. Later his brother Chandan Kumar also started helping him. Jitendra said that after seeing other sculptures he felt a desire to get into it. I was not trained for this anywhere. After gradually making sculptures, he himself became an expert at it. Apart from making idols during Durga Puja, on other days they earn a living by doing private jobs. He currently runs a juice shop.
