Bhaskar News|Jamui government claims to have ended Naxalism in Jamui district. So in the Election Commission records, Jamui is still included among those Naxal-affected districts of Bihar, where conducting peaceful elections is a challenge for the administration. Apart from Naxal-hit Jamui, elections will be held in Nevada, Gaya and Aurangabad on April 19 as part of the first phase.
The district administration has sealed 28 Naxal affected polling stations in the district.
