Kathmandu (International Desk) The South Asian Association of South Asian Nations (SAARC) is moving towards recovery, according to sources, Nepal proposed a meeting of foreign secretaries at the SAARC Programming Committee meeting.
According to sources, the SAARC Programming Committee meeting was held in Kathmandu in March, where the Directorates General and Joint Secretaries of the SAARC countries represented their respective countries.

Pakistan was represented at the meeting by DG South Asia Ilyas Nizami from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The chairmanship of SAARC is currently held by Nepal.
Sources say the meeting of the programming committee is a major development.
According to the sources, the physical meeting of the SAARC Programming Committee has been held after four years, the virtual meeting of the Programming Committee was also held three years ago.
