Ramen Das: Swing day rhythm! Actor Rudranil Ghosh left several WhatsApp groups of the party together. According to sources, the BJP leader suddenly left more than 60 WhatsApp groups on Monday afternoon. After that, speculation intensified of Rudranil leaving the party. The practice started with the actor not getting a Lok Sabha ticket.
Incidentally, in the Lok Sabha elections, the names of candidates have been announced for almost all the constituencies in the state, but Rudranil Ghosh’s name has not been submitted by the BJP. Although his name came up as a candidate in Lok Sabha seats like Krishnanagar, Barasat, Jadavpur, Rudranil did not get a ticket! It is heard that Rudranil Ghosh became ‘disappointed’ after this. Some claim that he could not accept the ‘not getting it’ ticket even after giving everything to the team!

Although Sanbad Pratid Digital has contacted Rudranil Ghosh to find out about this. Rudranil said, “I am in 10-11 important WhatsApp groups of the party. But I was added to multiple groups. He was adding as he could. I can’t watch so many videos. The phone was charging. On swing days, I was empty. I moved away from all those groups. I was an ad in about 77 groups.”
However, Rudranil’s voice is slightly different about not getting a ticket in the Lok Sabha. In his words, “I was working for the party, in accordance with the instructions of the party. I fought in Bhavanipur, a tough seat. There was only one hope, I will be among those who got the ticket in the Lok Sabha, tell me why there is no such hope! But the team did what they thought was best. Maybe give me another responsibility!” After sadness? Rudranil’s clear answer, “There was no regret or sadness. But there was no hope, this would be lying.”
The actor is going to leave the BJP without getting a ticket? Dismissing speculation, he said, “I work for the party. There are many responsibilities. So, there is no possibility that I will leave the team immediately. I’ll tell you later if I think of something new. I belong to the BJP. I don’t write poetry all day, I go to the field and work for the team.”
