The approach road built near the Gumgi flyover bridge on the main Gawan-Tisri road at Giridih collapsed a few months after its construction. Because of this, part of one side of the approach road has sunk by about one foot. There are cracks along the way. Because of this there is still the possibility of a major accident. But the concerned department is not taking any initiative in this regard. Let us tell you that this route connects Bihar directly through Gawan-Satgawan. Because of this it is considered the busiest road. According to the information, this road from Satgawan to Chatro was widened by PWD in the year 2020-21. The responsibility of building roads was given to RKS Construction. In which the Gumgi bypass was also built. A bypass was laid one kilometer behind Gumgi market. In this regard, along with the construction of a bridge on the river Gumgi Sakri, an approach road was also constructed. A few months after the road was built, cracks began to appear on the road. The approach road built on this route has also sunk by about a foot on one side. Because of this the vehicles passing through this route have to face many problems.
