Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday attacked Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray. He said doubt arises in the minds of people when a party formed to protect the pride of Maharashtra supports its enemies.
Raut made this comment while MNS chief Thackeray announced a day earlier that he would support the ruling Mahaiyoti alliance. However, so far the MNS leader has not given any statement whether any candidate from his party will be fielded or not. Let us tell you, BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP are included in the grand alliance.
Raut told reporters that his party is fighting for the pride of Maharashtra. He also claimed that BJP has taken all the corrupt people into its fold.
Businesses are moving away from Maharashtra
He said, ‘Businesses are moving away from Maharashtra, efforts are being made to break and cripple Mumbai. In such a situation, if a party formed for the pride of Maharashtra supports the enemies of Maharashtra, then a doubt arises in the minds of the people. He (Raj Thackeray) will have to answer questions.
Modi will pay attention to the concerns of the youth
Addressing his party’s annual rally on Gudi Padwa (Maharashtra’s traditional new year symbolizing new beginnings and joy), Raj Thackeray said on Tuesday that he hoped Modi would heed the concerns of the youth and reduce taxes in the state. It is important to us, we will receive a major share of the central revenues.
He said, ‘I have no hope. When strong leadership is needed in the state, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will unconditionally support BJP, Shiv Sena, NCP. This is only for Narendra Modi.
He also attacked his cousin and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Raut for criticizing Modi.
