A lot of mining materials and equipment including stone chips were seized.

On Thursday, a special task force conducted a raid against illegal mining and crushing in Pipratoli of Melghonsa, Sikidiri. District Mining Officer Abu Hussain, Angada Circle Officer Raju Kamal, Sili DSP Ranveer Singh, Angada Circle Inspector Ramesh Ravidas along with Sikidiri police station personnel and district police were part of the operation. An FIR has been registered against Congress leader with former Panchayat Samiti member Mahesh Ganjhu for illegal mining.

After illegal mining, the team stopped running four mines in Pipratoli.
