Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma alleged that Rahul Gandhi is an impatient person. Sarma said this about Rahul Gandhi’s Nyay Yatra from Assam recently. CM said that Rahul Gandhi made ignorant statement about Assam politics. Sarma said that the Assam Congress leaders might have tried to give information to Rahul Gandhi, but Rahul Gandhi has no patience, whereas a lot of time should be spent in understanding the culture of a state, its problems and geography.
Assam CM said – Rahul Gandhi is not trying to know about the states.
Assam CM said that there was a lot of commotion on the streets during Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra. Many leaders of the Congress party are angry about this. Sarma claimed that a large number of Assam Congress leaders would join the BJP after the Lok Sabha elections. Sarma said, ‘Rahul Gandhi does not know about the culture of the country and he does not even read about it or discuss it with his colleagues. He just comes and bothers people with his statements. If you are going to any country, then first of all we should know about the cultural personality of that country. You should also get information on what should be said and what should not be said and what are the issues that are sensitive to the country. Sarma said that ‘whenever he goes to any other country, he first gets information about that place so that you don’t make a mistake.’
“Assam is a free state on the basis of caste”
Sarma claimed that “Rahul Gandhi arrives without any prior information and leaves after knowingly or unknowingly embarrassing the local people.” Giving examples, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that ‘Rahul Gandhi raised the issues of caste census and violence in Manipur in the state during the Nyaya Yatra, but people are not interested in these two issues in Assam. Assam is a casteless state, where people have no faith in the caste system. This issue is very important in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, but not in Assam. Assam CM said that ‘When you talk about Manipur in Assam, people don’t feel connected to it because Assam and Manipur are two separate states. Manipur has no influence in Assam and Manipur has no influence in Assam.
