Ahead of the big wedding in July, the Ambanis hosted the second part of the pre-wedding festivities, for Anant Ambani and his longtime girlfriend Radhika Merchant, on a 4-day private cruise around Europe earlier this month.

starry night
The voyage began with a welcome lunch in Palermo, Sicily, followed by an official star-themed party, which was the first event of the itinerary. Merchant chose a custom Robert Wan chiffon dress, printed with a love letter her future husband wrote her for her 22nd birthday.
Toga party
After a day in Rome, the Ambanis’ next event was a toga party back on deck, for which the bride-to-be slipped into a toga custom-designed by New York designer Grace Ling. The fashion included an aerospace aluminum bodice, made to mimic curtains, which the designer 3D carved, sculpted and then 3D printed.
masquerade
For the third day of the cruise in Cannes, the billionaires organized a masquerade ball at the Chateau de la Croix de Garde, with headline performances by Katy Perry and Pitbull. Marchant, who was styled by Shaleina Nathani, chose a custom Versace dress (which took more than a year to complete) with shades of blue to match the water color of the Cote d’Azur. The exquisite match was further styled with a rare blue opal and diamond necklace by Lorraine Schwartz, and a bridal fascinator as her mask for the occasion.
farmer’s Market
The cruise festivities ended in Portofino, where Ambanis took over the main square on the last day, turning it into an open-air market with food stalls. For this occasion, Ambani’s young daughter-in-law chose an archival Yves Saint Laurent gown for a Dior gown, sourced by stylist Mimi Catterrell.

If all four of these looks weren’t enough for royalty, the bride of the moment was paired with Rhea Kapoor and Shireen for special photos. Marchant looked ethereal in a double-breasted white silk dress, with white and silver roses, paired with a matching rosette tiara to complete the dreamy look.
