PTI Prohibited Funding Case; FIA summoned Asad Qaiser
Former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser ordered to appear in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa office on August 11 next week
Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned former speaker National Assembly in the prohibited foreign funding case against Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
According to sources, former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has been summoned to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa office next week on August 11.

The FIA Economic Crime Wing has launched an investigation into the PTI banned foreign funding case. A 5-member special monitoring team has also been formed under the leadership of Additional Director Training Dr. Inam Waheed for the guidance and coordination of the investigation teams.
The 3-member bench of Election Commission of Pakistan has said in the verdict of PTI prohibited funding case that prohibited funding on Tehreek-e-Insaf has been proved.

PTI received funding from foreign companies including the Abraaj Group. PTI hid its 16 accounts from Election Commission. PTI Chairman Imran Khan submitted the Miss Declaration to the Election Commission. PTI Chairman’s certificate was invalid. Imran Khan’s affidavit contains false statements.
