ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (Prime Minister) Shehbaz Sharif has established a relief fund to help flood-affected people.
In a statement, the Prime Minister appealed to people, especially philanthropists, to generously help the flood-affected people.
Referring to the devastation caused by floods caused by unprecedented rains, he said there has been extraordinACHI destruction in Balochistan, while heavy losses have also been reported in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
Despite the dire economic situation, the government has immediately provided five billion rupees to the flood-affected people, the Prime Minister said.
He said there is a need to help the flood affected brothers, sisters and children with the spirit of ‘Ansar-e-Madina’.
Cash assistance for flood victims can be deposited in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund 2022 account number ‘G-12164’.
While the central government has already declared a state of emergency in the flood-affected areas, the provincial governments have also been requested to declare the affected areas as disaster-affected areas in order to speed up the relief work.
