Police will get rid of bandits from Kachcha area soon, says IG Sindh Achi-News

KANDHKOT: Sindh Police has decided to get rid of bandits from Kachha area with full support from the government, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said on Sunday.

In a conversation with the media in Kandkot, he said that conditions seem to be improving in the Kacha area, including Bexhamur. “I hope we will soon get rid of robbers.

According to him, police and detectives were operating in the Kacha area to maintain law and order.

Pointing out the tactics of robber gangs, the police IG said that earlier they kidnapped people, now they trap them with honey.

He said the police had rescued over 500 people in three months from being abducted in a honey trap and added that the police force had sealed off the kacha area.

He said the police had devised a strategy to control street crime from Karachi to Kashmore.

Ghulam Nabi Mammon said that some policemen murdered saints while fighting with dacoits.

According to him, arms sales are increasing because of tribal conflicts, efforts are being made to resolve tribal conflicts.

Answering a question IG Memon said that a joint investigation team is working on the Priya Kumari case.

Taking notice of the kidnapping of Hindu girl Priya Kumari, daughter of Raju Mal, the Sindh government recently ordered a joint investigation team (JIT) to rescue the girl.

The JIT is headed by Mirpur Khas DIG Javed Jaskani. The other members of the team are Hyderabad SSP Amjad Sheikh, Shaheed Benazirabad SSP Tanveer Tannu and two DSPs.

On August 19, 2021, seven-year-old Priya Kumari went missing on the day of Ashura, from a vigil set up in the Sangrar village of Saleh Pat in Sukkur district.
