Police raid on Mahua spirits distillery

Dumri police from Giridih on Monday raided the Mahua liquor distillery located on the banks of river Jamunia near Karihari village in Jamtara Panchayat of the police station area. From where several kilos of Java Mahua have been recovered. The operator of the furnace escaped before the police raid. In this regard, the police are said to have received information that the Mahua spirit distillery is being operated at that place.
