The permanent cold water pool (Amrit Dhara) at the city’s Shri Vaishnav Durga temple was jointly inaugurated by temple committee sponsors Abhinandan Prasad, Vinod Kumar Sahu and president Rajesh Kumar Gupta alias Bhola. The secretary of the temple committee, Ashish Tagore said that the said permanent pyau is the late resident of Jhalda. In memory of Vishwanath Lohariwala and Saravati Devi Lohariwala, the temple has been donated to the committee by their daughter Rajeshwari Devi Mahalka (Latehar). Vedic mantras were chanted by priests Tribhuvan Pandey and Rameshwar Pandey on the occasion.
The temple committee expressed gratitude to Lohariwala and Mahalka family for this noble work. He said that giving water to someone is a very virtuous act. On this occasion, Temple Committee Vice President Kanhai Prasad Agarwal, Badri Prasad, Ashok Das, Joint Secretaries Ranjit Kumar and Ravindra Prajapati, Treasurer Raju Ranjan Singh Rajiv Kumar Sahu (Ghanti), Omprakash Prasad, Pintu Kumar, Satish Kumar , Akash Kumar Jaiswal, Nidhi Many people were present including Kumari, Samriddhi Kumari, Mukesh Kumar, Paritosh Thakur. Here, the chairman of the temple committee, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, said that the rooms on the top floor of the temple are being beautified. He appealed to the people to cooperate in this work. He said that the donor’s name will be inscribed in the temple after bearing the cost of beautifying the rooms.
