Paytm down for many users, company says “trying to fix issue”

New Delhi: Digital payments platform Paytm on Friday promised to fix issues on social media hours after several users reported glitches while transacting through the app. “Due to network error across Paytm, some of you may face problem in login to Paytm Money App/Website. We are already working on fixing the issue as soon as possible. We will update you once it is resolved,” read a tweet on Paytm Money’s handle.

As Paytm Money went down during market hours, many traders are seeking compensation for their losses in F&O (Futures and Options). Acknowledging the issues, the company said in another tweet, “We understand that some of our trading and F&O users are facing genuine issues with their trading and positions. To always have your support in our continuous endeavors and to be honest and transparent, we request you to write us your concerns via email at [email protected]

“We have a problem and we really want to help. We are working hard to prevent such external problems from happening again. Thanks again for your support,” Paytm added.
