An 18-year-old boy living in Nalasopara, Mumbai lost money by clicking on a link on his mobile phone and committed suicide in fear.

The incident took place in Mumbai on Wednesday. An 18-year-old boy was playing a game on his mobile phone and clicked on a link that came online and fell victim to a fraud of Rs 2 lakh. He was playing games on his mother’s mobile phone. SMS is received while playing a game. After clicking on the link provided in the message, within few minutes, he received another message containing Rs 2 lakh. He is known to have been a victim of cyber fraud.

Suicide in anxiety

A young man is very worried after losing 2 lakhs to a cyber fraud. After this the parents did not know how to say. Also his mother was not informed about this message. The young man was eating insecticide because of the fear of losing money. He was later rushed to hospital. But police said he died without treatment.
