One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash on Route 403 in Brant County.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) constables, paramedics from Burnett and Oxford counties, and firefighters from Burford Fire Station were called to the westbound lanes of the highway between Rest Acres Road and Middle Townline Road Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while two other people were taken to the hospital.
The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The westbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours. The OPP said the lanes had reopened just before 7pm
