On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, a crowd of thousands of devotees gathered at the temple of Mea Dantshwari, the revered goddess of Bastar. Devotees come from far and wide to receive Darshan of the Mother Goddess. From the morning hours, there is a queue of Mata followers from the sanctuary of the temple to the main gate. More than 3,000 lamps of faith were lit in the temple.

Here, devotees also visit the Maa Dantshwari temple located in Jagdalpur.
