Nova Scotia RCMP say there is a heavy police presence in a community near the Canso Causeway Wednesday morning after shots were fired.
Police said in a post on X that the incident happened near the 14000 block of Highway 4 in Aulds Cove.
“Police believe this is an isolated incident and that those involved are known to each other,” the post reads.
The RCMP is asking people to avoid the area.
Police have not said if anyone was injured, or if they are looking for any suspects.
