To protect the crops, farmers apply a lot of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers, which remain attached to the plants. In such a situation, if the animal eats the straw made from these plants, then it proves very harmful to it. Such straw can even kill the animal. In such a situation, cattle herders must soak the straw in water for half an hour before feeding it. Then, remove the straw from the water and discard the water. This will reduce the amount of chemicals in the straw and the animals will not be harmed.
The diet should be reduced gradually
Vijendra Singh said that the digestive system of animals is divided into many parts. That’s why we have to be especially careful when arranging fodder for them. He said that animals should not be given a sudden change in diet. If the animal must be given a different diet, it must be given gradually. The unhealthy diet should be gradually reduced. If we remember these things while giving fodder to the animals, then our animals will remain healthy and strong and will also receive many profits from them.
