Vijeta Chaudhary, who gives horse riding training to children, says the tribal children of the district are very strong. Horse riding is not within everyone’s reach. You just have to guide them, they learn by heart. Currently, they are trained with Thoreau and Narrician foreign horses. These horses are designed for racing and stunts. When the kids get it, other horse breeds will be introduced.

Some kids started doing stunts very soon. By August 15, our effort is to prepare about 15 to 20 children and show them a horse show. After that, children from here will also be sent to events to be held in Madhya Pradesh in September and to the horse show to be held in Delhi next year.

Big money is wasted in the big cities
The trainer said that if children go to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi or Rajasthan to learn horse riding, then the monthly fee alone is 50 to 60 thousand rupees. If you choose a horse of your choice and want to learn horse riding, then it costs 4 to 5 thousand rupees for one ride which means 2 to 3 hours of training per day. Apart from that, more money is spent on other equipment. It is a very expensive sport.

It is a sport that also proves itself to build self-confidence. It’s a new sport for kids here. The special thing is that the tribal children of the district have more natural endurance than other children from outside. They also have a great desire to learn anything. Our endeavor is to run this equestrian project for a long time, so that the children here can go and play at the national level and beyond.

What is Javanga Education City?
In fact, a few years ago, an education city was built in Jawanga Gidam village in Dantewada.
