He highlighted the problem of unemployment, saying, “The unemployment rate is the highest in 45 years during Modi ji’s tenure.” He said Modi and (Amit) Shah had no intention of giving jobs in their minds, just making speeches, taking pictures and cutting ribbons.

“In Jammu and Kashmir, 65 percent of government posts are vacant. Work is given here to outsiders on the basis of a contract and a daily wage. Even in AIIMS, Jammu, people from Jammu don’t have jobs,” he said.

Priyank Kharge, who is also the Information Technology Minister of the Government of Karnataka, has explained Kharge’s illness during the election campaign.
