Nagpur; Leading News Service: A shocking incident has come to light where a policeman on duty shot himself dead at the UOTC camp under Wadi Police Station in the city. The name of this deceased policeman is Mangesh Maske (b. no. 1248).
According to more information, he shot himself in the head in a room while on duty as a quarter guard on Saturday (April 6). This incident has created excitement in the police department. Senior officials of the Wadi Police Station reached the spot as soon as they got the information about the incident. The mystery remains as to why the kind Maskur Mangesh took the extreme step and the police are involved in the investigation.
Earlier, a policeman shot himself with a carbine in Pune’s Lohianagar post and ended his life. The name of this policeman is Bharat Dutta Asmar (34 years old). While this incident is new, now a case of a policeman ending his life has come to light in Nagpur as well. Because of this, it has become necessary to find out whether the pressure on the police is increasing due to continuous duty or whether there are other family reasons behind it.
