The case of BJP MLA Muniratna is getting many stories day by day, the state government has issued an order to form an SIT to investigate the serious cases registered against him. Regarding the case, Karnataka ADGP (CID) Bijay Kumar Singh (BK Sing) has formed an SIT and has been charged with the investigation.
A total of three cases
A special SIT team of the CID has been tasked with investigating two criminal cases registered against Muniratna at Vayyalikaval police station in Bengaluru and a case registered at Kaggalipur in Ramanagara district.

MLA Munirathna is arrested in connection with caste blasphemy, death threats and rape cases. After Muniratna was granted bail by the Special People’s Court in the caste abuse case, the Kaggalipur police have taken custody of Muniratna in the rape case and are continuing the investigation.

The SIT is headed by Additional Director General of Police, Economic Crimes Wing, CID, Bijay Kumar Singh, Director General of Police, Central Zone, Labhuram, Superintendent of Police, Railways, Soumyalatha and Superintendent of Police, CA Simon.
Who is this BK Singh?
Senior IPS officer BK Singh belongs to 1996 batch and has been posted as ADGP (CID) in December 2023. BK, who is currently leading the ongoing CID Special Investigation Team investigations against JDS MLC Suraj Revanna and his brother of Prajwal Revanna. Singh had investigated the Gauri Lankesh case.
